“One of women’s most beautiful moment is when they are pregnant”. I couldn’t agree more with this quote. We have taken photos and videos for mothers to document this amazing phase of their lives. While editing this particular series, I realize that I have been neglecting the fathers all this while. Sure, it’s the mums who are carrying the heavy load and going through the whole pregnancy package eg.morning sickness, backaches etc. but there are really quite a handful of good partners around which have made it easier. Their support allow the mums to glow to their maximum potential. I have failed to give credits to these men. So for this series I shall pay a tribute to Elyzabeth’s hubby. I practically laughed out loud when I spot sneaky Adrian slogging and carrying stuff in the background when I’m editing Elyzabeth’s pictures. So here are some pictures of him! The man behind the beautiful mum (literally). We would like to wish an advanced Happy Fathers’ day to the patient and caring daddies out there!
I have been playing around with Instagram recently and I wanted to show my followers some behind-the-scenes of my photoshoot session. I thought it was going to be easy BUT i find it difficult to decide what to put into that short 15seconds time frame!
Bonjour Emma! Had an eventful session with you yesterday, you were sure very alert for a 10 days old baby! Thankfully the images turned out amazing for the short time-frame you gave to us.
Born to Beach-Lovers Christine and Nicholas who are from France. We’re sure you will have a Fun-Filled childhood ahead traveling around the world with your parents.
Hi baby darling! Introducing our precious sweetheart, Shernice. I still can remember the elation we felt when the sonographer confirmed that we were having a baby girl. Ray and I couldn’t believe our luck, we have broken the family tree’s pattern. Finally, there’s a girl! The joy and gratefulness we felt when we hold baby Shernice the first time was beyond description, now our family is complete.
Having done videography and photography for various people, I’ve learnt so much about the human race. Being hired to shoot at people’s personal events Eg. Wedding, birth is like being invited to be a narrator of their life story. We are honored to be able to “read” one chapter.
Taking photos of adults and children are very different. A rule of thumb for photographers is to avoid reflective backdrop or mirrors so that you do not accidentally capture yourself in the picture and end up photobombing the stars.
It was jus weeks ago that we took Gwynn’s baby bump shoot in a light hearted family outing setting. We chatted about how having children has changed our lifestyle, how we have to sacrifice our hobbies to maintain the family, for example, she hasn’t been able to dive and visit her sea friends for a long time. Boo..
